Innovation is fundamental for development, especially considering the evolving demands of the national and international market. This is the premise on which the return of Cibus Connecting Italy 2023 is based, which will take place in Parma on March 29th and 30th, 2023. Our organization will be present with a space in the exhibition area dedicated to the excellence of the Campania region (Hall 05 – Stand G-004).
The ambitious goal of the international food exhibition is to bring together the needs and experiences of production, industry, and distribution around a single table, working together to create new scenarios for the world of food. These scenarios include closer yet disconnected supply chain models, as well as a greater appreciation for the territorial connection and traditional productions, food traditions, and Italian culinary culture.
Cibus Connecting Italy consists of two organic elements. The first is the immersive experience in the tradition and “know-how” of Italian food. The fair allows participants to understand, explore, and firsthand experience the roots of authentically Italian food and beverages, from raw materials to semi-finished ingredients and processed products.
The second aspect of the event is that of a privileged platform for networking and mutual exchange. The central theme of the fair is the ability of the food industry and the entire supply chain to create and offer innovative and tailor-made products that can meet the premium demand from both domestic and international markets. The fair provides ample space for startups, novelty laboratories, and drivers of sustainable and innovative projects.
The Foodservice channel plays a key role within Cibus Connecting Italy: the fair pays special attention to the pursuit of quality, the search for typical raw materials, and the education of industry operators. The goal is to transform hotels, restaurants, and catering services into ideal showcases to promote Italian excellence beyond national borders.
Cibus is a multichannel fair that is constantly evolving: the 2023 edition includes four new areas, including fresh fruits and vegetables (with the participation of Italian producers for the first time), semi-finished products for ice cream and pastry, “rich in” products, and plant-based products.
