29 Mar Altamura become an O.P. (Organization of Producers)
When the roots graft into good soil, new plants sprout, new stems develop, new leaves grow. This is how the Altamura family grew, which from today officially becomes a producer organization specializing in the production of baby leaf.
The large family of the Altamura farm expands and from 2018 officially becomes an organization of 100% Italian top-range producers specializing in the cultivation of baby leaves. Our products are grown in the Piana del Sele, an area dedicated to agriculture located in the province of Salerno between the Amalfi and Cilento coasts. OP Altamura currently groups 13 farms in the municipalities of Pontecagnano Faiano, Bellizzi, Montecorvino Pugliano, Battipaglia and Eboli, with a production area of about 350 hectares covered with greenhouses of which almost 20% are destined for production in organic farming. “The O.P Altamura – explained the President Alfonso Altamura – was born with the aim of strengthening the organized system of leaf vegetable producers of the Piana del Sele, creating a model that, thanks also to our twenty years of experience in the production and marketing of baby leaves, can impress a widespread development and professional growth of all member producers ”

New identity and logo
The launch of the new O.P. is accompanied by the introduction of a visual identity, a project curated by the Nju Comunicazione Agency. The central element of the new project remains the pictogram that derives from the initial of the name Altamura. We played with the curves of a stylized leaf with a reference to natural elements and to what is the core of our Organization of Producers. The pictogram inside also refers to a human figure, a sign of the importance that people and the different souls of our organization have for us.
The new pay-off “Altamura, trust of nature”, encompasses the values that our organization will be the bearer of: trust, genuineness, nature, key elements that distinguish our daily work and relationships with our partners. Finally, specific brands were created for each product line, giving each a specific identity while maintaining overall homogeneity in the visual.
